For the last few weeks my wife has been rather diligently researching spas and salons specifically in the Bloor and Yorkville area. A rather unusual thing for her to do considering that she typically books these things rather last minute. It turns out she has a motivation (I was pretty sure she did but I wasn't sure what and am glad that it isn't some sort of special date for us because for the life of me I couldn't figure out what it was!).
Starting October 27th and running until November 6th approximately 60 beauty and wellness specialists in the Bloor-Yorkville area are running Beautylicious. It's their answer to the Summer/Winterlicious events that the restaurants of Toronto have been running since 2003 (starting originally as a way to boost the restaurant industry after SARS). Packages for Beautylicious are available at the $30, $50, $75, and $125 dollar range. Check out this website for more information about participating locations and the packages they are offering.
