Dog friendly gardening, whatever for? Shouldn’t the backyard be put together with the comforts of two-legged beings in mind not the four-legged types? If you have a garden and own a dog you need to be aware that there are many plants that can actually harm (even kill!) your dog.
In a perfect world you would train your furry companion to not eat your plants and flowers. In my world this has proven to be almost impossible! So with that in mind I decided it was time to do some research and start a list of toxic plants. A reference list so I would know what I need to avoid planting, or at the very least plant in a place that my dog can’t reach . Check out my dog friendly gardening list below. I’ve just started putting the list together this gardening season, so if you have anything to add let me know.
