Today the Toronto Real Estate Board (TREB) released their March 2013 Mid-Month Resale Housing figures. The numbers show that the average selling price during this time period was up by almost 6% (year-over-year) but the number of transactions that went through the system were down. With one less day than last year, the average selling price for the month was up 2% compared to February 2012, but the number of transactions were down for both the detached housing and condo market. So far the numbers show and increase in the number of transactions reported over the same time period last year and an increase of 4% in the average selling price for the same time period (also based on a year-over-year basis).
