Today the Toronto Real Estate Board (TREB) released their March 2013 Mid-Month Resale Housing figures. The numbers show that the average selling price during this time period was up by almost 6% (year-over-year) but the number of transactions that went through the system were down. The Canadian Real Estate Association (CREA) have released their national home sales activity report for February 2013. The report shows a decline in national home sales of 2.1% from January to February. The report also goes on to state that the Canadian housing market is, at present, firmly in balanced territory.
